Aquidneck Butterfly

This print was named Aquidneck Butterfly because of how it resembles its namesake in grace and beauty. It is Palmaria palmata (dulse), and grows among the kelp in the sublittoral zone. Who knew something this beautiful was out there getting tangled in your feet or fishing line! It was discovered in the waters at Third Beach, Rhode Island, at the mouth of the Sakonnet River.

This Fine Art print is made using Ultrachrome inks and printed on Bradford White 100% cotton rag paper. Each print is signed by the artist.
