Block Island Rose

Collected from the waters of Block Island Sound, this collage is an aquatic interpretation of a rose. The red, undulating seaweed is Grinnell's Pink Leaf (Grinelia americana), the green wiry strands are commonly known as Mermaid's Hair, and the black spiky "thorns" are remnants of rockweed.

This Fine Art print is made using Ultrachrome inks and printed on Bradford White 100% cotton rag paper. Each print is signed by the artist.

Frame and mat not included.
